CARPOA is an association of conscientious rental property owners and managers who operate rental units within the greater metropolitan area of Harrisburg, PA.  Our goal is to improve our members' knowledge of rental property management, to help protect their investments, and to help them have a more profitable and brighter future.

Our Mission:
     • To educate our members on all aspects of investment real estate.
     • To represent and advocate on behalf of our members before governmental bodies.
     • To enhance the image of investment property owners within the community.

• MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS
  Receive a newsletter that is jam packed with articles on how to manage your properties.  Read articles written by authorities recognized in the business.
  

• MONTHLY PROGRAMS
  Attend informative programs on landlord tenant law, tenant selection, leases, property maintenance, financing, insurance, legislation, and more.  Speakers include accountants, bankers, attorneys, and district magistrates, to name a few.
  

• LEGAL ADVICE
  A local attorney, who specializes in real estate, is on retainer to attend our meetings and to answer your questions.
  

• CARPOA LEASE
  Use our lease, which is free.
  

• LEGISLATIVE UPDATES
  Learn how new or proposed state and federal legislation will affect your business.
  

• REPRESENTATION AND ADVOCACY
  CARPOA advocates for its members on contentious rental property issues with governmental authorities.

• PARTICIPATION IN PROA
  Your CARPOA membership also includes membership in the Pennsylvania Residential Owners Association (PROA).  This organization provides a unified voice and leadership for the rental industry throughout Pennsylvania, including full time lobbying in the state legislature, coordination of grass roots legislative efforts, and statewide educational programs.  PROA also provides direct member benefits such as online credit reports, online apartment advertising, discounts on paint products, and quarterly legislative updates.
  

• TENANT SCREENING SERVICES
  Through your membership in PROA, you can use your own computer to obtain online credit reports, eviction search/tenant performance reports, police checks, employer verification, and landlord verification reports at reasonable cost.
